About Us

  • Entrusting someone with your dog is never a small thing. They are a member of your family, and handing over the lead requires genuine trust. We do not take that lightly.

Over the past five years, we have cared for hundreds of dogs — from two-month-old puppies taking their first tentative steps into the world, to much-loved companions well into their tenth year and beyond. It has been both an education and a privilege to witness the full arc of canine development: the intensity and unpredictability of puppyhood, the testing but formative adolescent phase, and the welcome steadiness that often comes with maturity. That breadth of experience shapes how we work.

Our walks are structured, calm and guided by behavioural understanding. We pay close attention to group dynamics, emotional states and the subtle body language that tells us how a dog is truly feeling. Safety is never assumed; it is actively managed, every step of the way.

You will not find overcrowded packs or chaotic free-for-alls here. We avoid repetitive, high-arousal activities such as constant ball throwing, as these often leave dogs overstimulated rather than fulfilled. Instead, our walks are built around purposeful movement, natural sniffing, thoughtful engagement and balanced play. We aim for dogs to return home settled and content — not wired and restless.

Every dog in our care is treated as an individual. Age, confidence, temperament and even daily mood all shape how the walk unfolds. A young dog in the throes of adolescence requires different handling to a steady older companion. Some dogs need space and reassurance; others thrive on gentle structure and interaction. We notice those differences and respond accordingly.

For clients who require boarding, the same principles apply. Dogs staying with us are cared for in a calm, structured environment where routines, safety and emotional wellbeing remain the priority. We keep numbers limited so that each dog receives appropriate attention and management. Boarding is not an afterthought; it is an extension of our standards.

Professionalism underpins everything we do. We arrive when expected, handle dogs responsibly in public spaces and treat your home with respect. Communication is open and honest. If we see progress, we share it. If we have concerns, we raise them calmly and early.

Above all, we care — not in a casual or sentimental way, but in a steady, attentive and responsible way. Our aim is simple: dogs who feel safe and understood, and owners who feel complete confidence in the care their companion receives.

  • Training is not about control. It is about understanding.

At the heart of our approach is a commitment to evidence-based, force-free methods. We work in line with current behavioural science, using positive reinforcement and thoughtful management to help dogs learn safely and confidently. There is no intimidation, no harsh corrections and no shortcuts that compromise welfare.

Behaviour always has a reason. Rather than suppressing symptoms, we look at the emotional drivers beneath them — whether that is fear, frustration, overexcitement or uncertainty. From there, we build practical, achievable plans that support both the dog and the owner.

While we work with dogs of various ages, we have a particular focus on puppies and early development. The foundations laid in the first months of life shape everything that follows. Having cared for and trained hundreds of dogs over the past five years — from eight-week-old puppies through adolescence and into adulthood — we understand how pivotal this period is.

Puppyhood is rarely linear. There are bursts of progress, sudden regressions, fear phases and moments that test even the most prepared owner. We guide you through this stage with structure and clarity, helping you build calmness, reliable engagement and healthy social skills before unwanted habits become ingrained.

Our training mirrors the same principles that underpin our walking service: safety, structure and individual care. Every dog is different. Temperament, breed traits, history and home environment all shape behaviour. Training plans are therefore tailored, realistic and designed to integrate into your daily life.

We are fully qualified and insured, and committed to ongoing professional development. Our aim is not simply to resolve problems, but to build lasting understanding and trust between you and your dog.

Training should leave dogs feeling safer, not smaller. Our role is to guide and educate — giving you the confidence to raise a dog who can navigate the world calmly and securely.
